​2013-16. European Union Universities in the Knowledge Economy (UNIKE) Doctoral Training Network, funded by the European Union. Multidisciplinary programme of research training examines how processes of creating regional and global knowledge economies are redefining the nature and scope of universities. A comparison between the regions of Europe and the Asia-Pacific Rim will ask what is actually going on in apparently similar processes of university reform? Builds on the Marie Curie Program IRSES project called URGE (University Reform, Globalisation and Europeanisation) (PI Prof. Susan Wright University of Aarhus, Denmark, for European nations and Blackmore, Associated Partner, Pacific Rim).
